Kritika ga proglašava najoriginalnijim slikarom fantastike, takozvane figuracije, svrstavajući ga u grupu novih simbolista, koju čini tek 15- tak slikara u svetu.

Danas, umetnik aktivno radi i izlaže širom sveta.

Stabla uvek imaju mušku i žensku stranu, trougao Duha svetog."

Zoran Ivanović

Zoran was born in 1952 in Peć. He attended Art School (Secondary), and graduated in 1981 from The Faculty of Applied Arts at the University of Arts in Belgrade, in the Class of Professor Gradimir Petrović. He obtained his MA in 1983, under the supervision of the same tutor.

In 1984, Zoran gained a scholarship from the French government and moved to Paris – this is when his intensive and successful career began. He is recognised in the Art world as a painter of original Fantasy Art.

In 1987 Ivanović won the most prestigious of awards, Grand Prix Monte Carlo – an honour bestowed upon only one other Serbian artist in the past, Petar Lubarda. From this point on, his name and work have been gaining ever greater
recognition.

In 2001, in Erlengen, one of the greatest German University centres, Zoran
Ivanović exhibited his works as part of the exhibition entitled 'At the End of Time'
– an exhibition organised by the German Government to mark the new millennium. On this occasion, he was included among the 35 best painters of Fantasy Art , from renaissance until the present day. Thus he stood next to Dürer, Bosch, Salvador Dali, Picasso.

He has gained critical acclaim as the most original painter of Fantasy Art, the so- salled Figuration, deeming him part of the group of New Symbolists, which consists of some fifteen painters world-wide. His works were included at the prestigious 'The Great Painters of Tomorrow' exhibiton, held in Louvre in 2009.

He regularly works and exhibits all over the world. As a member of the 'Libellule' group since 2006, his works have been exhibited at the Grand Palais in Paris, as part of one of the most prestigious international exhibitions entitled 'Art en Capital', at the Comparaisons Salon, which takes place in the most beautiful and the biggest gallery, 'La Nef', built in 1900. The Salon is followed by a year-long tour of the exhibited pieces around the world, from Japan to America.
The artist is endowed with a formidable and versatile energy; apart from painting, he has been directing this energy towards Karate training, a sport which, as he professes, enables him to paint constantly, sometimes for twelve hours a day. He is passionate about hunting, and Mongolia as a destination is just one of the

challenges he regularly sets for himself. He spends most of the year in his studio, situated on the mountain Kučaj, away from the civilization and without a telephone connection.
Sisterlogic is the artist Zoran Ivanović's exclusive representative for Serbia.

'My artistic preoccupation consists of trees which metaphorically represent both family trees and the Tree of God. Trees always have both a male and a female side, the trinity of the Holy Spirit.'
